Estimated weight
Estimate: walls/top/bottom + infill. For the exact weight, use the slicer's G-code file.
Cost & price
Material cost. To include energy, machine and labor, use the 3D Printing Cost Calculator. And generate a quote for your client.
Frequently asked questions
Does the analyzer send my file to any server?
No. The STL is read and processed entirely in your browser — nothing is sent or stored. Ideal for client files.
Are the weight and cost exact?
The dimensions and volume are exact (pure geometry). The weight is an estimate because it depends on the infill, walls and the slicer. For exact weight and time values, use the already-sliced G-code file.
Why does doubling the size increase the material so much?
Because the volume grows with the cube of the scale: doubling (2×) the dimensions multiplies the material by 8×. The tool shows this in the scale control.
Which formats are supported?
STL (binary and ASCII), 3MF (the standard of Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer and OrcaSlicer) and OBJ. 3MF respects the unit declared in the file; STL and OBJ are interpreted in millimeters.
